Kenyan marketing platform AIfluence has secured seed capital equivalent to $ 1 million during a funding round led by Dubai investment firm EQ2 Ventures. Many investors including Antler East Africa, Oui Capital and ArabyAds took part.

Kenya-based influencer marketing platform, AIfluence has announced its seed funding round of $1 million. The round was led by Dubai-based EQ2 Ventures, Antler East Africa, Oui Capital, ArabyAds, and an unnamed European family office.

AIfluence, an AI-powered Kenya-based influencer marketing platform, has closed Ksh. 108 million ($1 million) in seed funding. The investment round was led by Dubai-based EQ2 Ventures, and joined by Antler East Africa, Nigerian VC OUI Capital, ArabyAds and a European family office.

London-based OkHi just raised £1.4M through Angel Investor Network. The UK/Kenya startup hopes to solve the addressing challenges in emerging economies. The digital addressing startup is registered in London but headquartered in Nairobi. Angel Investment Network is the world’s largest online angel investment vehicle.

Kenyan startup OkHi, which has developed a digital addressing system for emerging markets, has a GBP1.4 million (US$1.78 million) funding round, supported by the London-based Angel Investment Network, to expand its team and grow operations in other African countries.

Kenyan smart addressing startup OkHi has launched in Nigeria alongside strategic partner and new investor Interswitch Group, aiming to tackle a problem that costs Nigerian businesses an estimated US$2 billion a year – the lack of postal addressing infrastructure.
